About Me

boy stuff of all kinds, soccer everywhere, reading a bunch, bikes whenever possible, many many projects in various stages of completion, food preservation mania in the summer, a dog, a cat and even some chickens fill our lives full of happiness. Just look how we've grown.

Why a blog?

I can write and share what's happening in the family, just one time. Since we have two small children, G working full time, me in school for my MLIS, and our personal interests we are just a little bit busy.
I won't fill up your mail box, but we'll be here, at least when I can get to the computer and remember the very clever thing I was going to write to you all, my captive audience. If I have another insomniac night or the boys have a great nap session, or if I really am procrastinating some project I've got to get done, then you'll find some new tidbit here.
Oh, and another thing. I know a woman who has an unveiled plea for comments on her blog, and at first I didn't really get it. But it's been a good while since I heard from anyone. Does this mean you aren't reading? Or does it mean that you don't know that I now am also yearning for a comment or two. Please? Just write "I read your blog today." or "You are a lot wierder than I remember!" Or whatever. Just something, okay? Thanks.
